HO CHI MINH CITY – Half Day City Tour – FLY TO DA LAT (B)

Your guide will meet you at your hotel and driven to Vinh Nghirm Pagoda, one of Saigon’d modt notable pagodas. Built in traditional Vietnamese architecture style. The main building boasts intricate wood carvings. The main hall is home to a huge Buddha statue whilst the backside hall is dedicated to Mother Goddesses, venerable monks and spirits.

You will also visit the War Remnants Museum, where Vietnam’s government has assembled presentations – some of them graphic – of wartime hardships and atrocities.

The tour continues with a stop at the Reunification Palace, where a North Vietnamese tank crashed through the gates in 1975 to end a war that killed an estimated 58,000 Americans and three million Vietnamese.

Visit the city’s Central Post Office, which was designed by the renowned French architect Gustav Eiffel.

Next, stroll toward the Saigon River along Dong Khoi Street, which figured prominently in Graham Greene’s famous Vietnam novel, The Quiet American, to the Saigon Opera House, a commanding building completed in 1901. Shelled during World War II, it was used to shelter French citizens fleeing North Vietnam in 1954, the year Vietnam earned its independence from France.

Hoan Kiem Lake, Cyclo & Street Eats Half Day Private Tour_AU clients

Start your afternoon with a visit to the Ngoc Son temple set on a tiny island on the picturesque Hoan Kiem Lake. The temple is reached by crossing the Huc Bridge which literally means the ‘Place Touched by Morning Sunbeams. Hear the legend of an emperor, a magic sword and a giant turtle, and how the lake took its name.

Take a breezy cyclo ride through the Old Quarter’s 36 streets, a place where Hanoians buy everything from noodles to light fixtures to Buddha statues. The quarter’s 36 streets were named for the products that were sold from their shops. Today, vendors on Tin and Bamboo Streets still sell the same wares.

Then go on a culinary wirlwind this evening, sinking your teeth into the flavours of the North on a street food tour through the alleys of the Old Quarter. Strolling along to the local night market, watch the bustle and array of goods on display, before setting off into the maze of alleys. Here, stop at a famous pho stall to slurp up this world renowed beef noodle soup, before grabbing a stool at the neibouring Bia Hoi Corner. Watch the commotion of this spot as it comes to life in the dark, while sipping a tall glass of cold local draft beer. Continue wandering and take in the sights of various curb side buisnesses that only open at night. Try some delicacies such as savoury steamed rice rolls with woodear mushroom and pork, a classic Vietnamese sandwhich, freshly grilled chicken wings or other snacks that make your stomach rumble! See firsthand the city’s obsession with barbecues before finishing things off with some dessert. Take a bite of fresh tropical fruits over shaved ice, drizzled with condensed milk as a perfect way to finish off this street food tour.

HANOI - HALONG - 1 Night Cruise (B, L, D)

• 08.30: Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi by private transfer.

• 11:30 Arrive at La Regina private lounge – Lot 24, Tuan Chau Marina – Ha Long, enjoy welcome drink and express check-in before boarding.

12:30 Transferred by speed boat to La Regina Legend Cruises. Welcome aboard the cruise, refresh with our welcome drink while Cruise Manager briefing cruise orientation, activities & on-board safety. The boat starts to be cruising to Lan Ha Bay.

13:15 Delicious lunch is served in restaurant while the cruise is passing Chan Voi (Elephant Feet), Van Boi and Tra Bau area.

15:00 Start your first off – board activity, doing kayaking or swimming to discover Tra Bau or Van Boi. This is the most ideal paradise for swimming.

17:00 Come back the cruise for relaxing.

HALONG - HANOI – DEPARTURE (BRUNCH)

06:15 Light breakfast is served.

06:45 Cruise further to Hang Sang – Hang Toi – one of the best attractions on Lan Ha Bay which is best known for its pristine and tranquil beauty. Exploring the area by local boat.

09:30 Check out of the cabin. Vietnamese cuisine buffet is served at the restaurant.

2:00 Disembark from the cruise as our crew say farewell, back to Tuan Chau Marina by our speed boat. Drive back to Hanoi airport for your departure flight out Vietnam.

Cancellation Policy

Non-Refundable deposit of 10 USD for hotels, air ticket booking upon services confirmation / US$ 100 upon tours services confirmation

Cancellations will be charged as follows:

+ 60 days before arrival: No cancellation charge. We Guarantee 100% Money Back (deposit is non-refundable) + 30-59 days before arrival: 5% cancellation charge. + 15-29 days before arrival: 10% + 8-14 days before arrival: 40% + 7 days before arrival: 100 % + No show: 100%

Refund of Unused Services

+ No refund will be given for any unused service after the trip has commenced.

Liability

Viet Expert Travel Co., Ltd. is not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by passengers. Additional expenses incurred due to delays, accidents, natural disaster, political actions and unrest must be borne by the passengers. Passengers are required to have full travel insurance.

Airline schedules and local conditions may affect accommodation and itineraries. Should this occur, Viet Expert Travel Co., Ltd will endeavour to substitute a suitable arrangement of similar value.

Participation on any tours implies full agreement to the above conditions by all parties involved.

Passport and Entry Visa

Your passport must be valid for at least six months following your entry date to your travel destination.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of a valid passport and visa and all travel documents are valid for travel.

• Please be aware that flight times, hotels and all other logistics, services and days of travel are subject to availability. Where flights are cancelled, or delayed Viet Expert Travel will endeavour to secure alternative arrangements of similar value as noted in our booking conditions.

• This quotation is valid until (above mentioned period). Any bookings made after this date are subject to change, as local economic conditions require.

• Please note that most 4-star hotels in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos are not of the same standard as 3-star hotels in the West. We use the best 4-star hotels where possible but with last minute bookings and bookings during peak season we cannot guarantee they are of an international 4-star standard.

• Please bear in mind that you will have to carry your luggage when you are trekking, so we recommend that you bring a small rucksack. For accommodation in homestays please bring your own towel and

Note: that some homestays do not have western style toilets and shower facilities. Accommodation is ‘dorm’ style with mattresses and mosquito nets.

• The overnight sleeper trains used on this trip are the comfortable available although they cannot be compared to European standards. Please note that whist we always endeavour to secure soft sleeper berths on overnight trains there may be occasions when we are unable to do this due to circumstances beyond our control. In these situations, we will secure the best available class.
